TIPS TO ENJOY THE BARS
A handcrafted cold process bar is quite different from a typical commercial soap bar.
Hence we've put together the following information
so you can enjoy your all-natural bar of plant-based goodness.
Life Span
Our soaps are handcrafted using the traditional cold process method which produces glycerin as a by-product during the process. The glycerin (the 'gem' in the soap that attracts moisture to your skin after use) produced is retained in each bar which explains why the bars are generally "softer" than commercially made soaps and "melts" if not handled well. But fret not. With the right 'tips', you can enjoy the bars with ease.
1. Our soap bars lather easily. For each shower, wet soap bar just sufficiently to get enough lather. Usually for each shower, wetting the bar once is sufficient. (First use may take a little more water)
2. After showers, let soap bar air dry before next use. Do not cover and do not let soap sit in water.

3. Use a good soap dish that the soap bar has less chances of sticking to.

Shelf Life
Efficacy of cold process bars do not deteriorate over time. In fact, the soap becomes gentler and the lather more beautiful over time. Always keep bars in cool and dry conditions away from sun and heat. As long as the bars do not smell strange or rancid, they are good to use.
For scented bars, as we only use natural essential oils (which do not have strong lasting scents like synthetic fragrance), we encourage the use of our bars within 6 months of purchase to enjoy the full experience.
Allergy concerns
Our soap bars are crafted with plant-based oils and botanical/mineral additives, with no animal products. Some of @mynakedbar soaps contain tree nuts like sweet almond oil.
Since allergies and skin sensitivities differ from individual to individual, please check our ingredient list for any allergy concerns. If in doubt, please perform a patch test and/or consult your doctor prior to use.
