Every My Naked Bar soap is formulated and handcrafted in small batches in Singapore.
From the oils we choose to how much scent goes in, we make deliberate decisions around skin comfort, how the bar performs in the shower, and the experience we want it to give you.
Because making a good bar of soap is not just about getting something to clean.
Why We Choose Cold Process
We make our soaps from scratch using the traditional cold-process method.
It gives us control over the formulation from the very beginning. from the blend of oils to the botanicals and essential oils we add, while retaining the glycerin that is naturally formed during soapmaking
It is slower. It asks for patience. And that is perfectly fine with us.
Why We Make Soap This Way
We formulate
from scratch
Every bar starts with a deliberate blend of oils rather than a ready-made soap base. Different oils influence how a bar cleanses, lathers, feels and lasts.
We keep the
naturally formed
glycerin
Glycerin is created naturally during soapmaking, and we retain it in our bars. It is one of the reasons we value this traditional method.
We don't formulate
for maximum
cleansing power
Clean is enough. We formulate with extra oils and think carefully about the balance of the bar rather than trying to wash everything away until skin feels aggressively squeaky.
We are particular
about what goes in
We pay attention to our oils, botanicals, essential oils and where we source them from. More is not automatically better.

in Small Batches
There are quicker ways to make soap.
Ours involves preparing ingredients, mixing each batch, pouring it by hand, waiting for the right time to cut, waiting again before stamping, and then leaving the bars to cure for at least a month.
Some recipes take even longer. Certain infusions begin weeks before the soap itself is made, while more complicated designs may involve work across several days.
We don't expect you to think about all of that every time you shower. But it is happening behind every bar.
Different Bars, Different Decisions
We don't make one standard soap and simply change the colour or scent.
Different bars use different oil blends, botanicals, clays, charcoal, essential oils and other ingredients depending on the kind of skin feel and shower experience we want them to offer.
That is also why one bar may feel different from another.
And because everyone's skin, routine and preferences are different, there isn't one universally best bar either.
Made with Sensitive Skin in Mind
A lot of the people who find us have sensitive or eczema-prone skin, either themselves or in their family.
This shapes how we make our soaps.
It is why we care about formulation, ingredient sourcing, scent levels and restraint. And it is why we would rather help you choose thoughtfully than tell you every bar is automatically right for everyone.
